Bribery is a more common occurrence than many people realise. It affects all levels of society, including business-to-business activity in the UK and worldwide. Inducements can range from small “facilitation payments” to gifts worth millions of pounds, making them difficult to track down.

The online Anti-Bribery and Corruption training course helps organisations understand the importance of complying with the Bribery Act 2010 regulations and implementing a solid anti-bribery policy. Its goal is to raise awareness about the significance of preventing bribery and corruption.

This course explores why bribery and corruption happen and outlines their prevalence. It explains how standard business practices like gifts, hospitality, sponsorships, and donations can be exploited as bribes.

It also covers the legislation in place both in the UK and internationally and the severe penalties that can be brought against someone found to be acting corrupt. The consequences of non-compliance can include heavy fines or lengthy prison sentences for employers and employees.
