REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, which came into force on 1st June 2007. One of the main aims of REACH is to provide a high level of protection for human health and the environment from using chemicals.

Module 6. Prerequisite Programmes

This module looks at the importance of having basic food safety control measures (prerequisites) in place before implementing a full HACCP system.

Module 7. Implementation of HACCP

This module looks at the steps that need to be followed before a completed HACCP system can be implemented. The module explains how members for the HACCP team are chosen and why
it’s necessary to create flow charts for your work processes.

Module 8.The 7 Principles of Hazard Control in Practice

This module outlines the seven principles of HACCP and looks at how your business can determine the significant food safety hazards. The module also explains critical limits and how they
should be established. It also explains how food businesses can monitor the identified hazard,
act in case of emergency and check to ensure that the HACCP.

 

 

At the end of the course there is a multiple-choice exam. The required pass mark for all modules is 70%. It is essential to achieve the requried pass mark to issue a certificate.

Retake information :

You will be given 3 attempts at each module. If a module is failed on the third attempt,
it will become locked and you need to contact us for the module to be
unlocked again. You are only permitted up to 3 extra attempts per
course.

You can take the exam up to 3 times, and if not successful, should repay the course fee and start again.
