  1. Great!

    4

    Would recommend

  2. Good on whole, especially for cost.

    4

Definitely worth the small amount of money paid out and I did learn some things. However, in a proofreading course there shouldn’t be any spelling mistakes! Also, some of the quiz responses were correct but still marked wrongly.

  3. A useful course, although I found many errors.

    3

Mostly an insightful course; however, I found many errors which needs rectifying. I particularly think that the assessment quiz section needs significant improving; for instance, they mark you incorrectly if you use straight quotation marks instead of curved quotation marks. Also, the same quiz questions repeat each time you retake a particular assessment, so one can either take a photo, copy or memorise the correct answer, which is displayed after you answer incorrectly. I highly recommend that this course creates different quiz question for each time someone retakes that task to assess the person’s ability accurately, rather than by them possibly cheating. Also, the course uses ‘checquing’ and ‘checque’ instead of ‘checking’ and ‘check’; ‘draught’ and ‘draughting’ instead of ‘draft’ and ‘drafting’, amongst other errors.

This course delivers a vast amount of useful knowledge to help develop and refine one’s writing abilities, although there are many unnecessary errors.
