Over sixteen modules, this course will give an overview.to develop knowledge and understanding to act fast when an emergency appears or when someone becomes ill or is injured at work.
Module 1: What is First Aid?
This module explains what first aid is, why it is crucial, and a first aider’s legal responsibilities and limits.
Module 2: Barriers, ABCDs and the recovery position
This module shows techniques to position an unconscious person safely.
Module 3: CPR and AEDs
This module guides administering CPR using an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Module 4: Choking
This module provides techniques to dislodge an obstructed airway.
Module 5: Bleeding
This module demonstrates responding to wounds and bleeding.
Module 6: Shock
This module explains recognising and treating shock.
Module 7: Spinal Injuries
This module shows how to respond to suspected spinal injuries.
Module 8: Breaks
This module demonstrates responding to fractures and dislocations.

At the end of the course there is a multiple-choice exam. The required pass mark for all modules is 70%. It is essential to achieve the requried pass mark to issue a certificate.
Retake information :
You will be given 3 attempts at each module. If a module is failed on the third attempt,
it will become locked and you need to contact us for the module to be
unlocked again. You are only permitted up to 3 extra attempts per
course.
You can take the exam up to 3 times, and if not successful, should repay the course fee and start again.
